This is where expertise becomes teachable.

Confined Water Performance & Coaching Ability

In confined water, performance and leadership are validated together.

Pool training confirms not only your personal capability, but your ability to teach, supervise, and manage safety with professional control.

You will demonstrate:

• Repeated depth stamina sessions and timed endurance dives
• Deep rescue from approximately 25 meters followed by effective surface management and tow

Across multiple structured sessions, you learn to manage real training environments with clarity, confidence, and full responsibility.

Your Next Step

After nine immersive days, you leave able to:

• Teach structured freediving education with confidence and professionalism
• Lead students safely in pool and open water

• Represent the highest standards of recreational freediving

For many divers, this marks the beginning of a lifelong path in teaching, exploration, and community leadership, and the moment freediving becomes something you share, not only something you practice.

Environmental Awareness & Sustainability

Depth means nothing without responsibility.

As part of your theory training, you will complete a dedicated environmental module focused on becoming a responsible freediver. Because performance without awareness has no place in the ocean.

You will learn:

• The fundamentals of marine ecosystem awareness
• The importance of Posidonia oceanica and why seabed contact matters
• How finning technique and buoyancy affect fragile habitats
• Respectful interaction guidelines for marine life
• Local environmental considerations specific to the Messinian Gulf
• How to assess shared water space with boats and other users
• Sustainable equipment and consumption choices
• Daily habits that reduce your environmental footprint as a diver

This module is not optional.
It is part of what defines a real freediver.

At Alchemy Freediving Center, responsibility toward yourself and responsibility toward the ocean are inseparable.
